Character Design

We developed a series of style frames to craft what our characters might look like, how they might live within their various spaces, and the overall feeling of their environments. It was great partnering with the good folks at Scholar to refine their sense of weight and scale, how the camera would discover them in their individual macro environments, and how each scene’s lighting would bring them and the plant worlds they inhabited, to life.

Set Design

To shed light upon what makes Traditional Medicinals teas so naturally beneficial, we dove deep into the unique worlds that make them potent. To do this, we built live-action mini-sets crafted from ingredients found in each tea, and embedded our tiny characters into them. Humble eucalyptus leaves, dewy Echinacea flowers, and juicy lemons were transformed into mountainous overlooks and hilly landscapes, awash in magic hour light. As our camera moved through these spaces, tea-lovers everywhere discovered the soothing moments found in each sip of Traditional Medicinals tea.
